GOOD VIBES ONLY (beta test) (20 min)
GOOD VIBES ONLY (beta test) é o primeiro capítulo do projeto de grande escala GOOD VIBES ONLY. A obra é estruturada como um beta test, ou seja, a fase inicial de testes de um software em condições reais de uso, realizada por usuários. A partir dessa estrutura inspirada nos testes gratuitos (free trial), o projeto investiga o conceito de scrolling e explora as relações entre performatividade e consumo.
Francesca Santamaria é uma artista italiana radicada em Roma, atuante no campo das artes cênicas. Sua pesquisa concentra-se nas lógicas da performatividade e em suas implicações, por meio da investigação do corpo em movimento e de seus limites. Em 2022, participou do CIMD Incubator para futuros coreógrafos e, em 2024, estreou como autora com o solo COME SOPRAVVIVERE IN CASO DI DANNI PERMANENTI. Em seguida, iniciou o desenvolvimento do macroprojeto GOOD VIBES ONLY.
O primeiro capítulo, GOOD VIBES ONLY (beta test), foi selecionado para o Danza Urbana XL 2025 e para a plataforma europeia Aerowaves. O segundo capítulo, GOOD VIBES ONLY (the great effort), teve sua estreia nacional no Romaeuropa Festival, em outubro de 2025.
Ao longo dos últimos anos, seus trabalhos coreográficos foram apresentados em diversos festivais e selecionados para plataformas nacionais e internacionais, entre elas Vetrina della Giovane Danza d'Autore (2023 e 2025), Crossing the Sea 2025–2027, Nouveau Grand Tour 2025 (Théâtre de Vanves & IIC Paris) e NID Platform. Em 2026, foi selecionada como artista da Aerowaves #Twenty26.

GOOD VIBES ONLY (beta test) is the first chapter of the large-scale project GOOD VIBES ONLY. The work is structured as a beta test, that is the initial phase of testing software under real-world conditions by actual users. The project was created to explore the concept of scrolling and, by borrowing the structure of a free trial, it delves into the relationship between performativity and consumption.
Francesca Santamaria is an Italian artist based in Rome, active in the field of performing arts. Her research focuses on performative logics and their implications through an analysis of the moving body and its limits. In 2022, she participated in the CIMD Incubator for future choreographers and in 2024, she made her debut as an author with the solo COME SOPRAVVIVERE IN CASO DI DANNI PERMANENTI. Subsequently, she worked on the macro-project GOOD VIBES ONLY.
The first chapter, GOOD VIBES ONLY (beta test), was among the works selected for Danza Urbana XL 2025 and for the European platform Aerowaves. The second chapter, GOOD VIBES ONLY (the great effort), had its national premiere at the Romaeuropa Festival in October 2025.
