Inspirada na palavra hebraica hiYA, que significa “reviver”, esta instigante obra de dança da LEE K-DANCE propõe uma nova visão da vitalidade como uma dinâmica relação entre o eu e o outro, o humano e o não humano.

hiYA sugere que a vida não é um estado fixo, mas um processo contínuo de troca, transformação e resposta mútua. Nesse universo, objetos e materiais deixam de ser elementos inertes para se tornarem entidades vivas, capazes de mudar, interagir e expressar emoções. Até mesmo a maquinaria do teatro integra a coreografia, dissolvendo as fronteiras entre intérprete e ambiente.

Por meio dessa radical reformulação da corporeidade, hiYA expande os limites da dança para além do corpo humano, criando um território pós-humano e onírico de sensações e conexões. Trata-se de uma jornada de dissolução e renascimento, na qual o movimento se transforma em linguagem de empatia e o palco em um organismo vivo.

Inspired by the Hebrew word hiYA , meaning “to revive,” this evocative dance piece by LEE K-DANCE reimagines vitality as a dynamic interplay between self and other, human and nonhuman.

hiYAproposes that life is not a static state but a continuous process of exchange, transformation, and mutual responsiveness. In this world, objects and materials are not inert — they are animate, capable of change, interaction, and emotion. Even the theater’s machinery becomes part of the choreography, blurring the line between performer and environment.

Through this radical rethinking of embodiment, hiYAexpands the boundaries of dance beyond the human body, conjuring a posthuman, dreamlike realm of sensation and connection. It is a journey of dissolution and reawakening — where movement becomes a language of empathy, and the stage a living organism.
