RESIDÊNCIAS E PROCESSOS DE CRIAÇÃO(Residência de intercâmbio profissional com criação)
A programação inclui duas residências artísticas internacionais conduzidas por Salia Sanou (Burkina Faso/França) e Iztok Kovač (Ljubljana, Eslovênia), reunindo artistas brasileiros em processos intensivos de criação, pesquisa e compartilhamento. Ao final das residências, o público poderá acompanhar apresentações abertas dos trabalhos desenvolvidos.
The program includes two international artistic residencies led by Salia Sanou (Burkina Faso/France) and Iztok Kovač (Ljubljana, Slovenia), bringing together Brazilian artists in intensive processes of creation, research, and exchange. At the conclusion of the residencies, the public will have the opportunity to attend open presentations of the works developed during these collaborative processes.

Diretor do Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes (CCNN) desde janeiro de 2026, Salia Sanou iniciou sua trajetória artística no teatro, em Ouagadougou, antes de se dedicar à dança e integrar, em 1993, a companhia de Mathilde Monnier no Centro Coreográfico Nacional de Montpellier. Em 1995, fundou, com Seydou Boro, a companhia Salia nï Seydou e, em 2010, criou a companhia Mouvements Perpétuels.
Sanou tem uma carreira marcada pela criação, pesquisa e transmissão. Seu trabalho, apresentado na França e internacionalmente, coloca as relações humanas, a circulação de saberes e o diálogo entre culturas no centro da dança. Desde 2006, dirige o Centro de Desenvolvimento Coreográfico La Termitière e a bienal Dialogues de Corps, em Ouagadougou.
À frente do CCNN, concebe a instituição como um espaço aberto ao encontro entre gerações, públicos, histórias e territórios.
RESIDÊNCIA
Esta residência convida cada bailarino(a), cada corpo, a explorar e reafirmar seu EU, a estar com o TU para caminhar em direção ao NÓS.
EU sou, com minha diferença, minha identidade, minha cultura, minha máscara e minhas fragilidades.
TU é o outro, que também é uma parte de mim. Juntos, criamos um terceiro espaço: um espaço de alteridade, escuta e encontro, onde oferecemos algo próprio para receber algo do outro e tecer o caminho rumo ao NÓS.
Um NÓS construído por acordos, ressonâncias, complementaridades e uma humanidade compartilhada.

Director of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes (CCNN) since January 2026, Salia Sanou began his artistic journey in theatre in Ouagadougou before turning to dance and joining Mathilde Monnier’s company at the National Choreographic Centre of Montpellier in 1993. In 1995, he co-founded the company Salia nï Seydou with Seydou Boro, and in 2010 he created Mouvements Perpétuels.
Marked by a career dedicated to creation, research, and transmission, his work—presented throughout France and internationally—places human relationships, the circulation of knowledge, and intercultural dialogue at the heart of dance. Since 2006, he has directed the Choreographic Development Centre La Termitière and the
Dialogues de Corps Dance Biennale in Ouagadougou.
At the helm of the CCNN, he envisions the institution as an open and vibrant space that fosters encounters between generations, audiences, histories, and territories.
Residency
This residency invites each dancer, each body, to explore and reaffirm their SELF, to be with the YOU in order to move toward the WE.
I am, with my difference, my identity, my culture, my mask, and my vulnerabilities.
YOU are the other, who is also a part of me. Together, we create a third space: a space of otherness, listening, and encounter, where we offer something of ourselves in order to receive something from the other and weave a path toward the WE
A WE built through agreements, resonances, complementarities, and a shared humanity.

Coreógrafo, diretor e pedagogo, Iztok Kovač é uma das principais referências da dança contemporânea eslovena. Criador da companhia EN-KNAP, desenvolveu mais de 35 produções cênicas apresentadas em mais de 30 países e atuou como coreógrafo convidado em diversos países da Europa, Ásia e Oriente Médio.
Sua trajetória inclui a criação de filmes de dança, a direção de grandes eventos e celebrações nacionais na Eslovênia e uma intensa atuação internacional na formação de artistas. Atualmente, também dirige a programação do Centro Cultural Španski Borci, em Ljubljana, um dos mais importantes polos de criação e difusão da dança contemporânea do país.
Residência: Princípios de Composição EN-KNAP
A residência apresenta dois dos principais dispositivos coreográficos desenvolvidos por Iztok Kovač para as criações da companhia EN-KNAP: 3Q e Open Parts.
Partindo da ideia de que a dança é uma forma de comunicação e interação entre indivíduos, a proposta investiga como estruturas coletivas podem emergir a partir das qualidades e escolhas de cada participante. Os exercícios combinam composição, improvisação e colaboração, explorando a relação entre movimento, espaço, tempo e acaso.
O trabalho estimula a criatividade individual, a escuta, a capacidade de reação e a construção de dinâmicas coletivas, conduzindo os participantes à criação de composições coreográficas estruturadas e improvisadas. Ao final da residência, o grupo poderá compartilhar com o público os materiais desenvolvidos durante o processo.

Choreographer, director, and educator, Iztok Kovač is one of the leading figures in Slovenian contemporary dance. Founder of the EN-KNAP company, he has created more than 35 stage productions presented in over 30 countries and has worked as a guest choreographer throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
His career includes the creation of dance films, the direction of major national events and celebrations in Slovenia, and extensive international work in artist training and development. He currently directs the artistic program of the Španski Borci Cultural Centre in Ljubljana, one of Slovenia’s leading venues for the creation and presentation of contemporary dance.
Residency: EN-KNAP Composition Principles
This residency introduces two of the main choreographic tools developed by Iztok Kovač for EN-KNAP’s creative work: 3Q and Open Parts.
Based on the idea that dance is a form of communication and interaction between individuals, the residency explores how collective structures can emerge from the qualities and choices of each participant. The exercises combine composition, improvisation, and collaboration, investigating the relationship between movement, space, time, and chance.
The process encourages individual creativity, listening, responsiveness, and the development of collective dynamics, guiding participants toward the creation of both structured and improvised choreographic compositions. At the end of the residency, participants will have the opportunity to share the materials developed throughout the process with the public.
