Em ANTRÓPODES, um casal volta para casa após um dia normal e cansativo de trabalho. Suas rotinas domésticas aparentemente monótonas descobrem camadas profundas onde as pessoas e o espaço que habitam se fundem. Amálgama de emoções e confinamento, de carne e objetos. Eles e o lugar que habitam são um só, indivisíveis, próteses corporais feitas de casas, próteses caseiras feitas de corpos. Podemos ser um inseto contemplando o mundo ou uma nuvem chorando em casa. Sob direção geral de Vladimir Rodriguez, em estreita colaboração com os bailarinos Luciana Lanza e Fábio Costa, o espetáculo nasceu graças ao Fundo de Ajuda às Artes Cênicas Iberescena, num encontro entre Brasil e Colômbia.

In ANTROPODES, a couple returns home after a long and ordinary day of work. Their seemingly monotonous domestic routines gradually reveal deeper layers where the individuals and the space they inhabit merge into one another. An amalgam of emotions and confinement, flesh and objects. They and the place they inhabit become one and indivisible: bodily prostheses made of houses, domestic prostheses made of bodies. We may be an insect contemplating the world, or a cloud weeping at home.

Directed by Vladimir Rodríguez and created in close collaboration with dancers Luciana Lanza and Fábio Costa, the work was developed with the support of the Iberescena Performing Arts Fund, emerging from an artistic exchange between Brazil and Colombia.
